Guacamole Dip with Avocados

Try these great ideas for lightening up dressings and dippers–less calories and fat:

Avocado–Place 1/2 ripe avocado, 1/2 cup buttermilk and 3 tablespoons of water in a blender; puree’ until smooth.   Stir in 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill; season with salt and pepper.

Hummus–Wisk 1/2 cup plain hummus together with 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice and 1 tablespoon water; season with salt and pepper.
